How to become a co-author

Co-authors write or substantially revise a chapter, a pattern, or the manifesto, and are credited by name. To co-author:

  1. Read STYLEGUIDE.md. Chapters 00–10 are drafted in v0.1; co-authors extend and sharpen them, add patterns to bok/05-patterns.md, or propose new chapters from OUTLINE.md.
  2. Write it to the template. Every factual claim needs a [n] citation tagged primary, secondary or reported, with a matching row in sources/SOURCES.md under that chapter’s section.
  3. Open a pull request. Add yourself to the Co-authors list below in the same PR.
  4. Keep the voice practitioner-direct, name categories rather than vendors, and never invent a figure. Respect the BRIEF blocklist recorded in STYLEGUIDE.md §7.

Substantive fixes — a corrected fact, a sharper argument, a better source — are also credited, in the Contributors list.
